The Story of the Chevalier Des Grieux and Manon Lescaut, a novel by Abbé Prévost, inspired Jules Massenet to create his comic opera, Manon. Excerpts from these two works follow one another, as well as a choreography to a concerto by Johann Sebastian Bach.
Dramatic version is played by Caroline Cellier, André Falcon, Bernard Garnier and Clément Harari.
The lyrical version is performed by Caroline Dumas and Albert Voli.
