ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
Acteon, a Greco-Roman myth present in the compilation Metamorphoses of the Latin poet Ovid (2nd century AD), deals with the story of the noble hunter who enters with his friends the domains of the goddess Diana, and catches her bathing with her nymphs. As a punishment for his daring usurpation, the goddess turns him into a deer, and he is devoured by his dogs, who do not recognize him. The staging works on the key of transformation in all elements of the work (time, space, bodies, costumes, cast, orchestra, light and even spectators) and also suggests discussions on historical issues of gender and environment
