On the third weekend of February 2007, all of Europe celebrates the 400th anniversary of opera. Estonian Television will broadcast live from the Vanemuine Opera Gala, where soloists from Russia, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia will perform.
Excerpts from the world’s best operas “La Traviata”, “Carmen”, “Porgy and Bess” and Olav Ehala’s musical children’s play “The Snow Queen” will be heard.
