HORRIBLE! I only saw one Tosca worse than this where Floria was African! ‘Radva’ sings “Vissi d’arte” lying on the floor. There’s a naked woman going around. There are iron bars and prisoners in Scarpia’s office behind a red curtain.The Terrace of Castel Sant’Angelo looks like Alcatraz. There’s a boy helping the couple, dressed in the clothes of our century. And many other ridiculous novelties that were used again in the next version with ´Radva’ and Jonas Kaufmann. I think it would be a good idea for Spaniards to limit themselves to la ZARZUELA and leave opera for those who know what to do with it.
