The original opera ‘The Tin Roof’, which contains a story of repeated violence in the name of revenge and a tragic life being robbed in it,
was selected as the 2022 Performing Arts Creation Center’s New Work of the Year by the Korea Arts & Culture Committee,

and was selected as a ‘2nd Production Support Work’ after receiving a great response at the time of its premiere in 2023.

[SYNOPSIS]
“Who was the first person to say ‘please save me’?
Was that person lonely and afraid like me?”

Summer 1987, a construction site hamburger restaurant.
Yoo Hyun-sook and Yoo Ji-sook are holding on to their lives under a tin roof.
Two people from the past come to them.
One in the name of violence, the other in the name of revenge.
The lives of the two sisters, who seem to have no salvation anywhere,
become red and cold like the heat wave and heavy rain pouring down on a tin roof.
