On the occasion of the World Cup in Rome, the three tenors Plácido Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti and José Carreras took the stage – a kind of “big bang” in classical music.
Over a billion people worldwide watched this TV performance. A further six concerts were recorded, but these recordings disappeared in a London archive for many years.
Now, after all these years, C Major in cooperation with Three Tenors Ltd. managed to assemble the most beautiful moments of six lost concerts in Munich, Tokyo, London, Vienna, New York and Pretoria.
