This performance is a gala concert of the original opera themed on ‘the love and death of a woman’ and Giuseppe Verdi’s , jointly planned and held by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Chapter of the Korea Music Association (Chapter President Oh Neung-hee) and the Jeju Arts Center.

The original opera , which premiered in 2022, is an opera that tells the love story of Jo Jeong-cheol, who was exiled to Jeju Island after an attempted assassination of King Jeongjo, and Jeju haenyeo Hong Yun-ae.
