Featuring the All Souls Orchestra, The Kingdom Choir, Brian Doerksen, Noel Robinson, Lou Fellingham, Joanne Lunn and Ian Mulder and conducted by Michael Andrews. The livestream will be brought to you by BBC Songs of Praise presenter Claire McCollum and comedian Paul Kerensa. The Coronation Prom Massed Choir, made up of singers from churches across the UK, will be helping to lead us in great coronation choral anthems and hymns.
Highlights include Handel’s Zadok the Priest, Holst’s ‘Jupiter’ from the Planets Suite, John Williams’ cinematic ‘Throne Room and End Titles’ from Star Wars: A New Hope and Vaughan-Williams’ ‘Antiphon’ from the Five Mystical Songs. The Kingdom Choir will be bringing us two gospel classics with a twist, including Bill Withers’ ‘Lovely Day’ and the great hymn ‘Amazing Grace’.
