Plaza del Pilar in Zaragoza hosts the Carroza del Teatro Real, where a lyrical concert will be offered that will bring well-known Aragonese arias and duets from opera and zarzuela , in a musical journey that will cross the worlds of Mozart, Bellini, Puccini or Verdi together with Granados, Soutullo or Sorozábal .
Created in 2020, the Carroza del Teatro Real measures 16 meters long by 5.80 meters high and weighs about five and a half tons. It simulates the stage of a theater – with its entrance, curtains and racks – and has been built by transforming a trailer truck like those usually used to transport and store scenery, props and opera costumes. Its interior can be adapted for different sets, exhibitions, recitals and concerts according to the needs of each event or performance.
