In 1924, the great composer Giacomo Puccini was in Vienna in a moment of personal and creative crisis. The meeting with the journalist Liza Berman, who forced him to retrace the joys and sorrows of his life, helped him to find the creative streak to compose “Turandot”.
Maestro Puccini continues to recall his past. After “Tosca” and “Madama Butterfly”, there is a moment of serious crisis between him and Elvira caused by the relationship between the composer and Doria Manfredi, a girl from Lucca called to assist him. And thanks to Doria, her dedication and the memory of her passing, Puccini seems to be able to find the creative streak to compose his “Turandot”.
