Wonderful!! I have just discovered this…Opera on Video. Love love love it! Thank you
Thank you so much for putting this online — if only it had subtitles! Hypothetically, someone might download this, buy the CD to get hold of the libretto, find a good translation of the original novel, then spend hours double-checking phrasing and tabbing in between google translate and movie-maker in order to insert color-coded subtitles so that the project can later be saved as an MP4 file and put onto a thumb drive so that one might be able to view it on ones’ smart tv. hypothetically. I don’t really like modern operas, for the most part, but this one hooked me — once more because of David Alagna’s directing wizardry, and Roberto Alagna’s expressive eyes and veloute voice. This is a terrific production!
