    Love and hate, suffering and despair, contempt and hope – all this palette of emotions is concentrated in a female tragedy performed by the brilliant young Valentina Talyzina. We invite you to watch an unusual film directed by Boris Blanc, based on the mono-opera by the French composer Francis Poulenc, which he composed based on the play of the same name by Jean Cocteau.

    The whole play consists of a telephone monologue of an abandoned woman with her lover, who will marry another tomorrow. With a voice trembling with tension, She begs him for something, cries, laughs, accuses and begs again. She is ready to forgive him and the other woman, and the lie.
