Whilst I certainly enjoyed the singing, Ian Bostridge’s antics (the only word I can use) on the platform were ridiculous and a distraction. Whilst one doesn’t want to see a wooden dummy perform, one equally does not want to see a dancing diva. Whoever directed this needs to think again and show some respect to the audience, not treat us like simpletons who cannot forbear to concentrate.
