The Benedictine monk Guido of Arezzo was born in 992 and devoted his entire life to music. In order for the singers to more accurately perform and learn the chorales, Guido came up with a scale and gave names to the notes, invented the prototype of the musical staff. Thanks to the humble monk, humanity has found a way to accurately record music and pass it on from generation to generation.
The Children’s Musical Theater named after N. Sats staged the opera by Vladimir Martynov in the space of the painting workshop where the scenery is created. The performance itself consists of seven episodes, each of which is based on one of the steps of the scale, which, as you know, are also seven.
