Excellent performance. Inva Mula is great. And Roberto Alagna is simply MAGNIFICENT in this role. Paul Gay’ really conveys well his satanic role. I’ve watched this production of Faust many times and always find it very enthralling.
This is a magnificent performance of Faust, with so much symbolic content. Paul Gay is SPLENDID as Mephistopheles, and together with Remy Corazza and Inva Mula they form a team of excellent opera singers AND actors. This Faust of the Paris Opera is since a lot of time on top of all searches, and we all are grateful for the chance to watch it online, but a DVD release would be GREAT!!!
