DolceAmaro is a semi-staged symphonic opera show presented every year as the final event of the advanced training course for opera singers held by the Teatro Comunale. The course, of absolute international importance, is carried out in the context of an extensive training program supported by the Emilia Romagna Region, co-financed by the European Social Fund, and promoted within the Modena Città del Belcanto program in which the Municipality, the Foundation of Modena and the Istituto Musicale “Vecchi – Tonelli” with the common aim of enhancing the Modena opera tradition through a program that combines stage production with study. Among the teachers illustrious names of world opera, such as Leone Magiera, Mariella Devia, Barbara Frittoli and Michele Pertusi
