The concert in memory of the great Russian singer Elena Obraztsova (July 7, 1939 – January 12, 2015) “To your soul, Elena” at the Elena Obraztsova Cultural Center is a tribute to respect and love for one of the most outstanding singers in the history of Russian vocal art.
The memorial evening will feature works by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Sviridov, Wieniawski, Saint-Saëns and other composers. The performers are young singers, assistant trainees of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Elizaveta Antipova, Polina Novikova, Anton Dolgovyazov, laureates of international competitions Ilya Izmailov (cello), Sofia Loos (violin), Valentin Dmitriev (piano), Tatyana Kalinicheva (piano), Anton Samsonov (piano). The concert is hosted by Honored Artist of Russia Maria Romanova.
