“Callas and Crossover” – a concert combining the best of Opera and Broadway!
Loyola’s talented Opera faculty pays tribute to Maria Callas on the 100th anniversary of her birth with selections from operatic roles that made her a legend – Norma, Lucia, Tosca and even Carmen. The evening also features musical theater numbers from the Golden Age into the current century, including favorites from The Secret Garden, Man of La Mancha, Phantom of the Opera, Kismet, The Light in the Piazza, Company, Les Misérables and West Side Story.
