The festive benefit concert is the culmination of VIII. year of the nationwide festival of primary art schools ZUŠ Open. In the Year of Czech Music, the concert is dedicated to paying tribute to Czech composers – for example, the premiere of the St. Vitus fanfare by composer Jan Kučera, as well as compositions by Jan Václav Hugo Voříšek, Zdeňk Lukáš, Václav Ptáček and others will be heard. The end of the concert will include the performance of vocal-symphonic compositions by Miloš Bok. The concert will be enriched by a dance performance under the direction of choreographers Hana Achilles and Pavlína Lipenská, who were created specifically for this extraordinary project. In the program, 300 selected pupils of primary art schools, who belong to the top representatives of the youngest artistic generation, will perform. Their performances will also be supported by pedagogues of the ZUŠ, who themselves belong to active professional artists. The program will be accompanied by the director general of the Czech Philharmonic, David Mareček.
