EARLY CHRISTMAS MUSIC
It is the traditional start to the pre-Christmas period for fans of classical music all over Germany: on the eve of the first Advent, the Frauenkirche shines in its baroque splendor and offers a magnificent festive experience with international guests and the Saxon State Orchestra. This year, the evening will be designed for the first time by the French conductor Marie Jacquot, who will take over the musical direction of the Royal Danish Theater in Copenhagen from 2024 – an aspiring musician with exceptional multiple talents. Because the former first conductor of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein was a talented tennis player before she decided to study music.
