I saw this video many times (different places) but never with that number of close-ups. Is my memory failing me or what?
Version: simple, lovely. Music: Massenet… Cast of one: magnificent Kaufmann 2010. Video in bad shape.
Audio Ok, Video too dark. One misses Kaufmann the actor, as superb as the singer.
One great singer-actor; Tenor Kaufmann. Period.
Nobody ever sang “Werther” like Kaunfann in Paris 2010. Nor even himself in NYMet 2014. Magnificent, manly, with a fantastic voice color never heard before in a tenor. Tks, tks, tks.
