When Operettas are bad things. Here Jacobi seems connected more with pop music than the Operetta Theatre where the ‘Composer’ writes music that can be enjoyed as one enjoys the music of Mozart or Puccini. The cast wants at times to ‘sing’ but the whole thing is not at all a tribute to a hungarian great Composer. I have watched it once – and that’s all.
Peccato.
