More than twenty years after its last visit to the capital of the Turia River, the Orfeón Donostiarra (Basque Choir) has returned to Valencia to support those affected by the Dana virus, conducted by José Antonio Sainz Alfaro. To mark the occasion, the Basque choir offered a concert in the Cathedral. The performance also included a special appearance by Juan de la Rubia, organist of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.
But the biggest surprise this Thursday was reserved for the end of the concert at the Cathedral, as tenor Plácido Domingo was tasked with closing the performance with a performance of the regional anthem.
