This 30-minute video presents the “Solo” section: a focused live performance by Davide Giannoni (Imaginarium Studio), where Puccini’s iconic themes are reimagined through electronics, strings-inspired orchestration, sound design, and field recordings — a bridge between opera memory and contemporary sonic spaces.
On the occasion of the centenary of the first performance of Giacomo Puccini’s opera (1926-2026), Alghero hosts the national premiere of Turandot delle Stelle, a unique performance combining live music and video mapping. The project, conceived and directed by Francesca Pasquinucci and Davide Giannoni of the Imaginarium studio, creates a dialogue between cultures and generations, transforming the opera into a participatory and immersive experience.
Featuring the Antonio Dalerci Music Band, conducted by Maestro Antonio Garofalo, the performance promises a unique emotional journey through visual art, technology, and music. This evocative and engaging show, designed to introduce audiences to the poetry and grandeur of Puccini’s universe, reinterpreted in a contemporary key.
