“Turandot delle Stelle” is a multidisciplinary project by Imaginarium that weaves together music, video projections, and visual art into a narrative inspired by Giacomo Puccini’s opera.
This recording documents the premiere performance in Pietrasanta, Italy, where hand-drawn images, animations, video mapping, and live music transformed the urban landscape into an immersive experience.
The show features new arrangements of *Turandot* alongside original compositions and a dialogue with Chinese musical traditions—facilitated by the participation of musician Zhao Xiaoyu—creating a genuine cross-cultural encounter.
Conceived and produced by Imaginarium, *Turandot delle Stelle* launches an international journey that will continue with new stops in Asia, bringing Puccini’s musical heritage into dialogue with the contemporary language of digital arts.
