ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
From the first musical strokes, listeners immersed themselves in turbulent times of the 18th century in France, when the Great Revolution took place here, dividing the nation into royalists and revolutionaries. At the center of these turbulent events is the main opera heroine, Teresa, who is torn between choice: love or duty to her husband. Teresa chooses duty, so the expectations of love and passions are mercilessly blown away by the evil forces and intrigues of the revolution. The content of the opera is not a romantic love story, it is a story of life, choice and death.
