ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
The Three Feathers (based on a tale by the Brothers Grimm) presents the story of an old king with three daughters. To determine who will inherit the crown, each daughter is given a magic feather to pursue a series of challenges. The youngest daughter, the shy Princess Dora, is led by her magic feather three times into the Underworld to encounter the powerful Frog King. Each visit causes more comic disruption among the Underworld’s children’s choruses of frogs, rats and bats. Dora’s growing courage and confidence lead her both to love and victory. — Dana Gioia
