Ventura College Music Theatre & Opera presents Gian Carlo Menotti’s delightful comic opera The Old Maid and the Thief, a razor-sharp satire about small-town gossip, moral hypocrisy, and misplaced desires. When a mysterious stranger arrives in town, spinster Miss Todd and her maid hatch a scheme that spirals out of control. The evening also features compelling scenes from works including The Secret Garden, Little Women, and Next to Normal, plus an exciting new commission. Brent Wilson, director.
