One Small Step is returning to the festival this year, having promenaded its way round the foyer last year. The Magic Mirror is taken from our next show, an adaptation of Michael Ende’s children’s book Momo.
One Small Step is a promenade piece which charts the emotional journey of a couple as they witness their child’s first faltering steps. Acappella duet, intercut with a percussive score, charts the highs and lows of watching a child learn to walk. The Magic Mirror is a love story about a princess and prince who find each other through a magic mirror. It’s taken from our next show based on Michael Ende’s cult novel, Momo.
