Chapter 4 Resurrection and Second Coming
“The Life of Jesus Christ” is an original work by Sapporo Chamber Opera, arranged by Tomoko Iwakawa. Just as Bach used chorales to create cantatas and oratorios, I wanted to compose and arrange well-known hymns to depict the life of Jesus .
Seven soloists, a narrator, flute, piccolo and piano express the mystery of Jesus’ birth, the stories of his mission, his painful passion and the joy of his resurrection.
This is a piece you should definitely listen to on Christmas Eve.
