  The Volgograd Philharmonic invites you to the concert “The Legacy of Elena Obraztsova”. The program was prepared by the Volgograd Academic Symphony Orchestra in cooperation with the Elena Obraztsova Cultural Center. The creative heritage of Elena Obraztsova, one of the greatest opera singers of the twentieth century, is recognized as a national treasure not only of Russia, but of the whole world. In memory of the famous singer, a cultural and educational project “Dedication to Elena Obraztsova” was created. Within the framework of its program, talented laureates of the international competition for young vocalists Elena Obraztsova, as well as the All-Russian competition of vocal and instrumental art for the prize of the Elena Obraztsova Cultural Center will perform in front of Volgograd residents: Clara Sementsova, (soprano, Sochi), Alexey Kursanov (tenor, Samara), Daria Shavrina , (soprano, Serpukhov, Moscow region), Stepan Zavalishin (bass, St. Petersburg). The program includes arias from operas by V.A. Mozart, V. Bellini, G. Puccini, G. Rossini, M.I. Glinka and P.I. Tchaikovsky. Inspired by young vocalists, they will give all opera lovers and lovers of classical music a real treat. Conductor Dusan Vilic.
