ARTIST’S STATEMENT
The video presented here is my offering to the new world of virtual opera. You may love it, you may hate it, but I guarantee you’ve never seen anything quite like it! It’s based on a play by Greek tragedian Euripides, “The Bacchae”. Feminism and environmentalism (“Pantheism”) are the two major themes here (yes, Euripides saw these as being relevant concerns over 2400 years ago!).
