ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
An opera that transports the audience into the world of the great “Kobzar,” allowing us to see him through the prism of modernity.
This large-scale production, set to music by the renowned composer Zoltan Almashi, is not merely an opera but a profound reinterpretation of the figure of Taras Shevchenko. His image appears in two dimensions: we witness his life in the 19th century and feel the spirit of that era, yet simultaneously perceive him as a contemporary.
By blending classical motifs with a modern musical language, this opera becomes a true journey through time and space.
