ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
On April 5, 2022, a concert version of Richard Wagner’s opera Tannhäuser in the Dresden edition was performed by the Sochi Symphony Orchestra on the stage of the Winter Theater. The performance of the opera took place as part of the third evening of the Opera Classics in Sochi festival under the artistic direction of Alexei Aslanov. The main parts were performed by the leading soloists of the world opera scene and the St. Petersburg choir “Soglasie” conducted by Pavel Teplov.
The Sochi Symphony Orchestra Support and Development Fund became the organizer of the project “Opera Classics in Sochi”.
