  Come and hear exceptionally talented young singers perform favorite opera arias in Italian and other languages presented by Dolora Zajick’s Institute held annually in Reno, offering a FREE concert during our program sponsored by First United Methodist Church and University of Nevada Reno.   The Institute was born of a desire to develop young opera singers and to address the lack of dramatic voices in the opera world, in particular for the great roles of Verdi and Wagner. This innovative 3 week intensive program is generously hosted by University of Nevada Reno for singers with large or unusual voices aged 15-36 at varying levels of development. Students study with an esteemed international faculty who understand the real demands of this challenging career and know what the most important opera houses are really looking for. Our faculty provides a solid foundation of skills a professional singer needs to embark upon and survive a career in opera.
