ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
Organized by Fo Guang Shan New York, this major spiritual and musical event coincided with a triple milestone: the 60th anniversary of the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Order, the centennial birth anniversary of its founder, Venerable Master Hsing Yun, and the 35th anniversary of the New York Temple. Combining traditional Buddhist hymns (Beifang), modern orchestral arrangements, and multimedia theatrical elements, the concert honored Master Hsing Yun’s global legacy while championing universal messages of compassion, peace, and hope.
More than a concert, this is an invitation to come together through the universal language of music — to share peace, compassion, hope, and the beauty of humanity.
Featuring outstanding musicians and performers from the New York Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera, Broadway, international performing artists, and BLIA Choirs, this unforgettable evening brings together diverse voices and talents in celebration of harmony and togetherness.
Wherever you are, we invite you to enjoy the music, share the experience with your family and friends, and let the message of peace and hope reach even farther.
May the light of music illuminate every heart and inspire us to create a more peaceful and compassionate world.
