  Captivating and unsettling, the witch haunts our collective memory. Long portrayed as old, hideous, and malevolent, she was long made the scapegoat for fears and catastrophes. Yet behind these traits emerge other figures: Medea betrayed, Circe abandoned, Medusa punished… Women wounded and banished, yet bearing a light that history sought to extinguish.

  Healer, midwife, free or solitary woman, the witch embodies those whom society tried to silence. Once demonized, she is reborn today as a symbol of revolt, freedom, and connection to nature.

  This solo is a choreographic journey where shadow and light, wound and rebirth intertwine. Dance, carried by a musical landscape ranging from opera to rock, becomes ritual, invocation, living memory.

  To rehabilitate the witch is to rekindle the spark of those who, in the shadows, already carried the promise of an undefeated freedom.
