On August 8, 2024, in Zaryadye Park, as part of the forum-festival “Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030”, the famous fairy tale poem “Ruslan and Lyudmila” came to life. This is a grand opera and drama concert accompanied by the Bolshoi Symphony Orchestra under the direction of international competition laureate Yuri Demidovich with the participation of ballet dancers of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia.
The audience saw and heard the skillful performance of arias from the opera by laureates of international competitions, artists of leading musical theaters of Moscow: Veronika Khorosheva, Alexander Kolesnikov, Alexander Chernov, Gabriel de Rel, Irina Berezina.
The production was created for the anniversary of A.S. Pushkin (225 years) and M.I. Glinka (220 years) – their names are closely linked in the history of Russian art. The text of the poem was read by the actor of the “Modern” theater Alexander Tolmachev.
