A great operatic duo as Romeo and Juliet when they were still (relatively) young and in love with each other. But dear Angela, where was “Amour ranime mon courage” ? Perhaps the windy surroundings of the old amphitheater in Orange proved to much of a challenge? The score is still high voltage without Juliets poison aria, but I really missed it.
