The Middle East, cradle of the three monotheistic religions, is at the heart of this program, which evokes the musical images of the prophets through the centuries and the different sung languages.
At the invitation of the Festival, Simon-Pierre Bestion, who possesses both a knack for musical journeys and a passion for them, takes us with his ensemble La Tempête on a sonic exploration that will take us from sacred songs of Christian, Muslim, and Sephardic traditions to choirs composed by Brahms, Rachmaninoff, Arvo Pärt, and Machaut.
