ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
The opera has a message of singing to nature where boys and girls will sing to the world, in order to highlight the danger of deforestation, the same one that is causing a great impact on biodiversity.
The libretto, music and arrangements of the opera for the symphony are authored by Santos Correa, in which 40 maestros of the symphonic band take part. The characters are four fairy godmothers, trees, flowers, a blue bird and a little sapling.
The objective is to preserve the environment and biodiversity, through the presentation of children’s opera, as well as to develop mechanisms and actions aimed at creating and strengthening regional and national awareness of environmental problems.
The pianist and composer Santos Correa studied music at the National Conservatory of Music. He is a music teacher at various educational institutions. He is the director, arranger of several orchestras both nationally and internationally.
