TV has visited two major opera premieres this spring. First we went to the North Norwegian Opera and Symphony Orchestra where there was a major premiere of Ariadne auf Naxos by Richard Strauss with, among others, Lise Davidsen in one of the leading roles.
Bergen National Opera marked their 10th anniversary with a magnificent production of Il turco in Italia by Giacomo Rossini with top international soloists and colorful scenography and costumes. Program director Arild Erikstad meets with the cast and opera directors after the premieres
