Believing that the creation of art should mark every special occasion, OPERA America commissioned the OPERA America Songbook to celebrate the opening of the National Opera Center. On March 19, OPERA America will present 10 selections from this exciting collection of songs composed by some of the most important established and emerging composers working in opera today.
The concert will include songs by David Carlson, Christopher Cerrone, Paula Kimper, Robert Xavier Rodriguez, Gregory Spears, David T. Little, Erling Henry Wold, Richard Danielpour, Lewis Spratlan and Lori Laitman.
