ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
Harvard College Opera presents a virtual, original, and highly interdisciplinary pastiche for its 2021 mainstage production, drawing from artistic collaborations between singers, instrumentalists, writers, composers, singer-songwriters, actors, visual artists, filmmakers, poets, dancers, and choreographers. Inspired by Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, this production follows the dreamy journey of the actor Robin, after a daunting audition for the role of Midsummer’s personality Puck. A series of unique and eclectic vignettes, each exploring a different stage of sleep, creates an enchanting adventure through the journey of an artist.
