ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
The contemporary music project “Music of Our Time” in collaboration with Lyrica Classic presents an evening of contemporary vocal music, which will be held as part of the contemporary opera festival “Muffled Voices”.
On April 15 at 19:00 on the stage of the Small Hall “Zaryadye” the works of Russian and foreign composers of the 20th-21st centuries will be presented to the Moscow audience and guests of the capital.

Tatiana Chudova, “Tatiana’s Dream”
For mezzo-soprano, quintet and electronic sound
The mono-mini-opera by Tatiana Chudova is based on the fragment of the same name from A. S. Pushkin’s novel “Eugene Onegin”.
Leading soloist of the Helikon Opera Theater Alexandra Kovalevich, master of sports in aesthetic gymnastics Victoria Mikhailets and the Lyrica Classic quintet will take viewers into the world of dreams and illusions.
Tatyana Chudova, “The Head of Professor Dowell” (world premiere)
A fantastic mono-mini-opera based on the story of the same name by Russian writer Alexander Belyaev (1925), a science-fiction horror novel about how researcher Kern revived the head of his former leader Dowell, who died under rather suspicious circumstances. Performed by Metropolitan Opera soloist Denis Sedov and pianist Karina Pogosbekova.

Yuri Butsko “Two Tales” (world premiere)
Vocal cycle based on the poems of I. A. Bunin “Like on the sea, on the sea” and “Alyonushka”. Performed by mezzo-soprano soloist of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia Alexandra Durseneva and pianist Karina Pogosbekova.
Valery Gavrilin “Russian notebook”
Five songs from the vocal cycle “Russian Notebook”: “There is a viburnum above the river”, “Sowing and blowing”, “It happened”, “Suffering”, “In the most beautiful month of May”. Performed by the soloist of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia soprano Polina Shabunina and pianist Karina Pogosbekova.
