ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
The traditional Christmas concert of the singing classes at the HfMDK will take place this year as part of a large cooperation project with the chamber choir of the university and the orchestra of the department of historical interpretation practice. Conducted by Florian Lohmann, they will perform Handel’s famous oratorio “Messiah” in the English original (slightly abridged). The individual arias are distributed among different students in the singing department, who have previously qualified for this through an audition.
