“Several centuries ago, the French philosopher Blaise Pascal called man a reed capable of thinking, referring to his loneliness before the universe, his fear of death and his defenselessness before love. To paraphrase the thinker, a dead person is a reed pipe near God’s mouth, on which He plays his lullabies,” composer Iryna Aleksiychuk thinks.
