SYNOPSIS:
After more than twenty years emigrating to Peru, Juan the Indiano returns wealthy to the village he left young and poor in search of fortune so he can propose marriage to his beloved Adriana, whom he now finds a widow. Although he hopes to rekindle that old love, Juan sees in Rosaura, her daughter, the spitting image of the young Adriana he abandoned years before, and he courts her, using the social standing of both the girl and her boyfriend Gustavo. Juan, listening to Leontina, Adriana’s mother, seizes her considerable fortune and forces Rosaura to accept his proposal.
