Originally, the myth of the White Lady comes from the outfit worn by the queens of France wearing mourning … a simple white dress.In Boieldieu’s comic opera, the character of the White Lady is present for prevent the vile Gaveston from taking over Avenel Castle. The 7 singers, the Orchestra and the choir of the Opéra de Limoges, tell you about this legend of the white lady using Boieldieu’s comic opera as a pretext, many extracts of which will punctuate the story. The whole will be illustrated with projected drawings and animated in video.
