  Freely inspired by the allegories of the enigmatic and fabulous triptych created by the painter Hieronymus Bosch between 1490 and 1500 – a time of uncertainty between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance marked by the radical upheaval of traditional, technical, political and spiritual landmarks -, the director and scenographer Philippe Quesne invites the spectator to share the destiny of a small human community at the time of a threatened world. In this creation between medieval bestiary, ecological science fiction and contemporary western, fantasy and utopia formulate a playful response to current perils. Retransmitted with a slight delay from Boulbon’s career, a show with which the creator of La mélancolie des dragons , Big Bang but also ofLa nuit des taupes returns to Avignon to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its company, the Vivarium Studio.
